cognitive therapy
This section of the app helps individuals change the way they think about their illness and certain situations. It allows for user input thoughts which are both generic and fear specific. These fear specific thoughts can be added directly to the thought journal or added while a fear activity is performed. The good fear specific thoughts also act as a coping mechanism during that specific fears activities. There is also a section which encourages better thinking habits and can be used as a coping mechanism.
behavioural therapy
This section of the app helps individuals change the way they behave during a situation. It allows for user input fears which are then broken down into smaller activities which can be viewed on the in-app calendar if the activity is to be repeated on a schedule. These activities are also tracked and a history can be viewed to see how long an activity took to achieve an anxiety level below the threshold and how your anxiety level changed over that time as well as between sessions.
coping mechanismsThis section allows for the user to select coping mechanisms which they find personally helpful from a list of possible methods. These selected mechanisms can then be accessed via the favourites tab to help with stressful or anxious situations or can be used directly on the fear activity page during an activity.
